I’m sure you have seen the tweets, not to mention this post from Edspire.
On Saturday November 2nd, Jennie and her friends and family are marking nine months since their precious Matilda Mae went to sleep and did not wake up. The next day will mark day one of a new chapter in their lives. Each day will be one more day that Baby Tilda has been gone for longer than she was here.
On Saturday November the 2nd we are holding the Matilda Mae Welly Walk. For so many reasons. To remember a little girl who is no longer here; who was taken too soon. To celebrate a little life. To come together and to remember, to celebrate and to support a family who are broken by the loss of this little girl.
It is also to raise money for, and awareness of the Lullaby Trust. The Lullaby Trust are the main charity in the UK that supports bereaved families affected by SIDS. They fund research in the bid to find answers about this, the most cruellest of syndromes. They also support families as they go on to parent future babies. They work to build a brighter future for us all.
We need your help.
We really want to make the Matilda Mae Welly Walk a huge success. Not just because we want to raise money for a
charity that is doing essential work, but because we want to continue to build the legacy of Baby Tilda. So far we have walked a mile. We have auctioned prizes and we have leapt from planes. It will never be enough, but it is something.
