So many lovely brands and smaller companies have helped to make the Matilda Mae Welly Walk a reality and none of it would have been possible without the sponsorship we have secured. I would like to tell you a little more about them all over the next few weeks.
The Meet the sponsors feature is likely to run a fair while as we have many many people to thank, but we would like to start with TwoTen.
TwoTen very generously donated the last remaining sponsorship we needed to be able to start selling tickets. Without their help, the Welly Walk was looking decidedly unsure and we are so so grateful to them for believing in us. Two Ten’s sponsorship means that we were able to offer train rides for guests, and to provide hot drinks and food too. We asked our lovely sponsors to answer a few questions:
- Tell us a little about your business- how did you come up with the name and what does it mean?
We’re in the business of looking after kids online in an age-appropriate way. The name TwoTen refers to the age of kids we think our approach works best for. Well, really the age range is more two-ish to eleven or so, but that would have made for a really long domain name…
- What is your brand vision/ mission?
Along the way we’re making it easy for parents and teachers to provide a truly effective way of letting kids grow up online, through simply a choice of a content rating suitable for your child’s age and development stage.
- Can you tell us what the #MMWellyWalk means to you?
It’s a chance to keep on supporting a good cause we’ve supported in the past – and maybe wang a welly or two into the bargain 🙂
I hope that you had chance to talk to Chris during the Welly Walk, but if you didn’t, then you can still get involved with TwoTen’s work. Take a look at the site and sign up to be a tester, so that you can be a part of your child’s online safety.
TwoTen have been a huge part of the Matilda Mae fundraising activities so far, having previously sponsored Team Matilda Mae’s hotel for the sky dive. Chris also surprised us all by turning up at the airfield with bottles of pink bubbly for us all. Having him at the welly walk really did mean a lot to us all so on behalf of the team, I would like to say a huge THANK YOU. TwoTen helped to make the day very special.
