So many lovely brands and smaller companies have helped to make the Matilda Mae Welly Walk a reality. In less than 24 hours we shall all be together at Beale Park and we shall be remembering a very special little girl. None of it would have been possible without the sponsorship we have secured and we would like to tell you a little more about them all.
The Meet the sponsors feature is likely to run a fair while as we have many many people to thank, but we would like to start with Karisma Kidz.
Karisma Kidz very generously donated the last remaining sponsorship we needed to be able to start selling tickets. Without their help, the Welly Walk was looking decidedly unsure and we are so so grateful to them for believing in us. Karisma Kidz’s sponsorship means that we are able to offer train rides for guests, and to provide hot drinks and food too. We asked our lovely sponsors to answer a few questions:
- Tell us a little about your business- how did you come up with the name and what does it mean?
Karisma Kidz is a brand that helps children to identify how they are feeling, why they may be feeling that way and what they can do to switch to a more resourceful feeling… It also enables parents to keep abreast of their child’s feelings and encourage positive behaviour by setting and rewarding tasksThe name Karisma Kidz comes from the fact that we empower children with confidence and charisma they need to grow into well rounded adults!
What is your brand vision/ mission?
The mission is To empower children through play by providing products and services the enhance minds, while enriching lives.
The vision is To ensure that all children are equipped with the happiness, confidence and creativity they need to grow into tomorrow’s leaders.
Can you tell us what the #MMWellyWalk means to you?
Supporting families to keep their precious ones safe and well is a subject dear to my heart so I’m delighted to support this cause which remembers and celebrates a precious little one lost too soon and raises much needed funds to support families affected by SIDS while also funding vital preventative research!
Karisma Kidz work regularly with charities that support vulnerable and disadvantaged children, and they also support the non profit organisation The Centre for Positive Thinking Children. Their site has a detailed Parents section where you can learn more about how Karisma Kidz can fit into your family life and if you get chance, do take a read of the 7 tips to help your child Bloom post on the blog. As an aside, Karisma Kidz have been finalists in the Start Up awards 2012 and received a silver in the Loved By Parents best interactive toy awards 2013 and a silver in the Practical Preschool awards 2013 too.
The Matilda Mae Welly Walk are team are proud and honoured to have worked with Karisma Kidz and without them, the event would not have been so special. So thank you Karisma Kidz- we are all very grateful for your support!
