Maternity wear from Pink Blush

Pink Blush maternity are an American brand who contacted me to ask whether I would like to review a few pieces from their collection. Absolutely yes! I knew immediately that Pink Blush was a little different, and their clothes looked a lot more fun than most things you can get over here in the UK. I loved the patterns and the bright colours and I ended up choosing items that I would never had otherwise chosen if I’m honest. I wanted to go for things that reminded me of my non-pregnancy days. No more plain black or sensible styles. Pink Blush has so many attention grabbing pieces that it seemed a crime to go for the same old thing again. So I went for three amazing dresses that have won me countless compliments each and every time I wear them!

The maxi dress

I went for this dress because I knew the empire line bust would suit my shape and flatter my bump, and I knew that the light jersey material would be fantastic for growing with me and keeping me cool in Sicily. I wasn’t wrong. I love love love this dress and I must have worn it at least every day on holiday. This summer I’ve worn this dress so much that it is almost my ‘maternity uniform’ in fact. It is SO comfortable, and so stylishly classic. I am also confident that I will wear it again next summer, pregnant or not, as it is one of those dresses that just fits so well no matter what your shape. Yes, its intended to be a maternity dress, but actually it can be worn post natally too due it’s style and shape. The bright turquoise stripes make it more than just another black maxi dress and the length is perfect too.

I love the way my bump looks in this dress, and now that the weather is a little cooler, it still looks great with a light jacket or cardi too.

The abstract print dress

How amazing is this dress? I was drawn to the bright colours, the pattern, the style- everything! This is a really fun maternity dress and another one that always earns me lots of compliments when I wear it. That’s important to pregnant ladies! I love the style of this dress. I love that it proves you don’t have to shy away when you’re expecting- you CAN stand out from the crowd and this dress is perfect for that! This is the photo I first shared on Instagram:

I’ve since worn this dress with tights and boots (looks fantastic) so I know that it works well for Autumn too, even if it is bright and colourful. And I’ve swapped belts around too, loving that any colour goes with this dress. It’s comfortable, flattering and it makes me feel special. And you just cannot put a price on that! You can see from the next photos that the dress still fits really well towards the end of pregnancy too.

The tribal printed dress

Another WOW dress! Another dress that reaps the compliments. Another awesomely unique addition to my maternity wardrobe. This one didn’t come with a belt but I added one as I like the effect it gives, and I love that this works so well with tights, boots and a cuddly cardi too. Perfect for Autumn!

Love the clothes – did you have to pay additional taxes when the clothes arrived in the UK from the US?

I think there is an additional tax, yes. Best thing is to ask on Twitter, they’re very friendly xx
