We have a wonderful history with the Essential One, which started when The Toddler was just nine months old. She was chosen to model for the brand’s new range and we had a lovely day trying out lots of cute clothes! The brochure that she stars in is now in pride of place in her memory box, and it was an experience I’ll never forget either. This is the post I wrote about it at the time.
Since then the Essential One has not only been a brand that we’ve grown to love, but friends too. Karen is a lovely lady! We’ve been honoured to review maternity clothing, and we were recently also sent some gorgeous baby clothes ahead of the poppyseed’s arrival too. So, here is our preliminary review of baby clothes from the Essential One!
The baby vests
We were sent a set of three beautiful baby vests to review- and here they are.
As we don’t know whether we’re having a boy or a girl yet, we love the neutral ranges at the Essential One- how beautiful are these little body suits? They are obviously designed and made with love, and so so soft to touch. Sets come in either 3s or 5s and each have a beautiful jersey drawstring bag (pictured on the right) so they make wonderful gifts too. I cannot wait for the poppyseed to be big enough to wear them!
We’ve also been lucky enough to receive a set of three baby sleepsuits in matching neutral colours for the poppyseed. Again, the designs and finish of the clothes are exquisite and like the vests they come in sets of three, with a soft jersey drawstring bag to match.
What we love about the Essential One
It’s the attention to detail that really makes the clothes stand out. Each item is so lovingly made and features the distinctive logo- beautiful.
The brand uses only 100% superfine cotton so that the clothes are super soft and comfortable against new baby skin. They wash well (I know from dressing Bella in them) and they look beautiful. At the moment I am loving their neutral range, which is fantastic if you choose not to find out the gender of baby. I’m also a huge fan of their funky brights too!
The babygrows retail from £16.99 for a pack of three, and the baby vests are available from £10.99 for a pack of three- definitely a worthy buy in our opinion. We cannot wait to dress baby in the Essential One’s finest!
