Fisher Price 3 in 1 projection mobile: a review and giveaway!

March 24, 2015      16 Comments

We are huge Fisher Price fans in this house, so were delighted to be sent the 3 in 1 projection mobile to review.

Sleep and Elsie don’t always mix so well, so anything that has been designed to soothe and settle is worth a go in my eyes, and coming from Fisher Price we were sure it would be as wonderful as the other items we’ve had to review. This is what we thought of the 3 in 1 projection mobile- PLUS don’t miss your chance to win one of your own!

What it is

The Fisher Price 3 in 1 projection mobile s a rather clever device that can be used three ways. There is a removable sound and light device that can be used on it’s own, removable hanging toys that can be used on their own in the pram or buggy, and when you put it all together it makes a wonderful baby cot mobile.

Like many Fisher Price products, the mobile grows with your child- from newborn to as long as your baby wants lights and sounds to soothe at bedtime, and toys to grab and watch while out and about.

How you use it

The idea is that your newborn baby will use the sound and light projector as a stand alone device, before moving on to a more interactive mobile once they move into the cot. The toys can be removed at any time for entertaining on the go. There is also a parental remote control so that you can activate the mobile without disturbing baby.

How we use it

So far, Elsie is still in with us in her side sleeper crib and co-sleeping with us, so her cot is yet to be constructed. We’re using the projector part only at the moment, but we’ve assembled the mobile for review purposes, so that we can see how easy (or not) it is to assemble and use.

The projector has three noise settings: white noise, music and rainforest. The latter is my favourite; it reminds me of the sounds we heard during the doppler scans when Elsie was in my tummy! These are all activated with a push button and can be used on long or short play.

The lights project stars onto the ceiling and are activated with a push button. Elsie loves watching them.

Our verdict

We LOVE the 3 in 1 mobile so far. It was really easy to assemble and all pieces are sturdy and safe. The sound and light projector is by far my favourite part of the mobile and I love that you can control it remotely. The projected stars are wonderfully soothing and the white noise setting actually does help to soothe Elsie if she wakes at night. HUGE thumbs up- anything that helps Elsie to settle for sleep is a MUST HAVE in my eyes.

Lovely giveaway. Something I would love to use for Chloe when he is moving into a cot bed in 2 or 3 months time.
