On Friday Elsie and I took a train together.
Our very first Baby Show.
To catch up with friends and colleagues, and brands we’ve both worked with and admired from afar. So what did we think? These are our highlights.
I’ve been working with the lovely Helen and Polly for over a year now and finally got to meet them this weekend.

What super ladies they are, who truly believe in what they do. And their towels are not just towels. They are amazing and really need to be seen (and felt) to believe it. I highly recommend you check them out- and look out for the new range of products too, there are some fab bits coming up for your little ones from this amazing team.

I loved working with Keira and was so thrilled to catch up with her again at the Baby Show. Elsie and I had a little swoon over the new beautiful, brightly coloured blankets and the gorgeous new babasac design (full review coming up now that Elsie is finally out of her swaddle).
I’ve used lots of mama designs products with Elsie- the bamboo breast pads, the amazing Snoodie, the Mamascarf and the Babasac are all amazing.

Egg stroller
I’ve admired the Egg since it hatched at Easter and I wasn’t disappointed to see it in the flesh.

I love this pram!
Aesthetically, it so different and really striking, but what I really love is the fact that the unique shape makes it so cosy for smaller babies. That’s not to say that the egg is small, just perfectly formed. Elsie had a quick spin and loved being in the cocoon-like seat.
I have to say it really suited her! The Egg also comes as a tandem and there are some beautiful colours in the range. The white on gun metal black is by far my favourite, but in the flesh they all look amazing. Watch out for the Egg stroller, I think it’s going to be huge in the pram world!

I’ve always been fond of Bugaboo so we spent a while sighing over the Buffalo before the amazing Van Gogh design on the Bee caught our eye! I’d hoped to catch a glimpse of the new Bugaboo runner but I either missed it or it wasn’t there. Maybe next time!

It’s always lovely to meet with a brand you’ve known and loved and Tommee Tippee is just that.

We’ve used their products for over 10 years now and still think they’re amazing. It was so lovely to catch up with the team too.

The lovely Michelle gave us a fab demo of all the prams in the Stokke range and Elsie had a quick spin in the Scoot too.
I love how small this pram folds up and the red looks amazing. I have to say that the polka dots are awesome though and I REALLY wish the soft pink was available in the UK! We’re huge Stokke fans already and our Xplory is a much loved part of the family now. We’ve just moved Elsie up from the carry cot to the seat unit in the last week or so an we’re awaiting a delivery of the beautiful pink summer kit- so watch this space for our review, coming soon!

The guys at iCandy were so friendly and really knew their stuff too. We were given an awesome demo of the new peach all terrain and lucky Elsie got to test it out too. She loved it, of course!

This pram was a dream to push and the carry cot was such an awesome size, but cosy too. I love the small fold on this one too- it may be a two piece fold, but it does go small enough for cars with limited boot space. The Raspberry was also looking very colourful and beautifully presented, but it really was the Peach All-Terrain that we fell in love with. A quick demo proved to us that it would be super handy for our walks around the woods near us so all I need to do now is convince Ghostwriterdaddy.. again, watch this space!

We’re huge Joolz fans and it was lovely to be able to have a quick look at the new models and accessories. Sadly we didn’t have time to test them but definitely next time!!

I was lucky enough to asked by Milk and Mummy to choose a nursing dress to wear to the Baby Show and after much deliberation I went for the Monroe in black and white.

I cannot tell you what a bonus it was being able to feed easily and discreetly and I love love love the style of the dress too. Full review coming soon!

I was also sent the amazing Isabelle bag from Babybeau and I have to say that it was really handy.

It’s such a great size and meant that I didn’t need lots of carrier bags or extra luggage with me at the show- everything fit inside perfectly. And it matched my dress too! Full review also to come on this.

Our day at the Baby Show was busy but fun- and all the more so after meeting up with the lovely Hannah, Lisa, Jade and not to mention Kate. Thanks ladies, Elsie and I had a ball!

Looks like you had fun. I’m gutted I missed out. Love love love our Scoot 🙂
Hi all… I have that pregnancy undecisive brain and just can’t decide between the stokke or the egg stroler…. any thoughts?
I take long walks and intent to do so with bub, maybe pull out to the beach sometimes and I have a spacious car which gives me more room than deciding on a stroler that simply folds into a boot. But hubby does live abroad so I do need a pram i can manoever easily.
Help 🙂
PS Elsie is gorgeous
Hello! I’ve since got the iCandy peach jogger and would say its the best pram I’ve ever had! But if you wanted to choose between the Stokke and the egg I would g for the egg as the stokke can be big and bulky xx
Thank you so much for the advise.
I think we have iCandy available in Dubai. Will have a looksy. Stokke we have for sure but The Egg I would have to buy from abroad. So thanks for the advise… before I go through the hassle of flying in a stroler I will go look at iCandy too 🙂
