We were recently sent some beautiful Christmas baking sets from Zac and Lily and I have to say that we absolutely loved them. So much so, we’ve just bought a few sets for teacher gifts too. Here are our thoughts on the wonderful Christmas Eve Kit and Reindeer Lebkuchen baking kits…
The first thing that struck me when our box arrived, was how beautifully the kits are packaged. And I can confirm that the teacher gifts we received today are just as spectacular. The Christmas Eve Kit came in a lovely little box tied up with a red ribbon, and a note to Bella from Elsie. Luka’s reindeer kit came in a little tube with a personalised message too. This is such a lovely touch that really means the kits make wonderful gifts. The kids were thrilled!
The Christmas Eve Kit consists of:
- Santa’s cookie mix, just add 1 egg and 70g butter to make 10 yummy double chocolate cookies (full instructions included)
- Hot choc and marshmallow snowman, add milk to make 3/4 delicious mugs
- Pouch of sparkly magical reindeer food
- ‘Colour me in’ card for Santa
Of course, for the purposes of this review, we were required to dig right in and get busy! Bella loved making the cookies, and I loved the fact that even terrible bakers like me could get creative in the kitchen with the kids. It doesn’t happen often, so it was a real treat for us all.
The Lebkuchen reindeer kit consists of:
- Lebkuchen cookie mix
- small jar of honey
- reindeer noses
- icing pen
This was just perfect for Luka! He loves to help in the kitchen and was able to follow the instruction by himself. Decorating the cookies was great fun, and a chance for him to see the whole project through to the end. Don’t the cookies look cute?
The Christmas Eve Kit and Reindeer Lebkuchen baking kit are both wonderful little boxes of happiness. They kept the kids entertained and tummies full, and I can vouch for the taste too! What a lovely little tradition to start this Christmas!
Order your kits NOW if you want them by Christmas- and hurry because I believe they are selling very fast! And don’t forget your teacher gifts too! The Christmas Eve kit is just £12.50 and the Reindeer Lebkuchen kit £7.50.
We were sent the baking kits free of charge for review purposes only. All opinions are my own.
