I was recently asked whether I would like to try a party dress from House of Fraser, and since I LOVE choosing and trying new dresses there was no way I could say no! I love House of Fraser for many reasons, but mainly because they are so easy to shop with online. I don’t always get the chance to browse in store like I used to- babies cry, children run riot. you know the kind of thing. And while I do prefer to try things on and see them in the flesh,, sometimes online shopping just works. The only downside has to be the HUGE range of dresses at House of Fraser– I end up losing hours on that site!
Thanks to House of Fraser, I discovered Trollied Dolly. They’re a really fun brand with loads of dresses that just seem to speak to me. What do you think to these three beauties?
In the end, I went for a more fitted dress with a pencil skirt and a belt at the waist, because I wanted the dress for a more formal occasion. The Straight and Narrow dress really jumped out at me because it was a little different to most of the dresses I own, but it still had that little something that was ‘me’, if you know what I mean. The dress was ordered, paid for and despatched all in one day. Two days later it was here! And I have to say that in the flesh its just as good as on screen! Now the only question remains as to what shoes to buy to go with it…
Do I try and match the belt and go casual with ankle boots? Or go for the subtle yellow with open back court shoes? OR do I go for my favourite shoes with a nod to the navy blue and two fingers up at matching any of the other colours in the dress?! What do you think?
As always, House of Fraser came up trumps for me when it came to choosing the dress, so I’m sure I’ll soon be the proud owner of a new pair of shoes too. Online shopping is not always my favourite pastime, so it makes sense to go back to sites that I know will deliver- good service, good products and good deals. Take a look at the dresses on offer and you’ll see that there are reductions over so many lines right now. And please do check out Trollied Dolly too- love love love their dresses right now!
•I was given £30 to spend at House of Fraser for the purposes of this review. All opinions are my own.
