The next post on this theme was about Daniel Johnston and I was convinced to add a linky for others to join in. And they did!
The linky is hosted by myself, AResidence and Hazel and Blue Handmade. Its very important to me.

  7. What a great idea! And absolutely captures the power of music to communicate something deeper than words. One of the activities we’re trialling for http://www.Storyofmum.com is Mums’ Mix Tape where mums choose three pieces of music they want their son/daughter to hear and the son/daughter chooses three back. Given your eclectic mix above, I’d love to know what you would choose and why… Could you narrow it down to just 3? My choices so far have been surprisingly cheesy so I think I’ll need to follow this blog to refresh them with something more distinctive! Thank you.

  10. Found this link via your messy play blog but had to comment. I love ben folds (ben folds five was my first love) and death cab. The Shins are my favourite though, caring is creepy is my all time favourite album. So refreshing to hear about someone liking more diverse music and wanting their kids to as well :)
